Dried Morels
Dried Wild Morel Mushrooms hand harvested by tribal members from the Flathead Indian Reservation. Our Wild Morels are prized for their rich, woodsy flavor. Our local gourmets treasure the nutty taste, pleasing texture, and call them a delightful delicacy!
Each mushroom season we dry some of our crop of premium fresh morels to make them available for you all year round. A honeycombed, cone shaped wild mushroom in the same fungus species as the truffle is called dried morel. Morels have a smoky, earthy, nutty flavor and range in size from 2 - 4 inches. Morels acts as wonderful sautéed in butter, but also a great addition to mushroom sauces.
